Privacy Policy

When you request an estimate through our quote form, we collect:

• Your name, email address, and phone number
• Your city and state, so we can tell whether a job falls inside our standard service area or a travel charge applies
• Photos of your rug (up to five), and any notes, dimensions, fibre type, or damage details you provide

We don’t ask for payment information through this site. That happens directly with you, in person, once a job is agreed.

We use what you send us to:

• Prepare for and schedule an in-person evaluation
• Follow up by email or phone about your request
• Keep a record of the job, from estimate through completion

We don’t use your information for advertising, and we don’t sell it to anyone.

• Vercel hosts this site and stores submitted photos and quote records in Vercel Blob storage.
• Resend delivers the email notification that lets us know a new quote request has come in.
• Google Maps: the map on our “Where we work” section is an embedded Google Maps page. Loading it may let Google set its own cookies or collect data under Google’s own privacy policy; we don’t control that.

We don’t share your information with anyone beyond what’s listed here.

We don’t run analytics or advertising trackers on this site. The only thing stored in your browser is your light/dark theme preference. That’s saved locally on your device and never sent to us.

We keep quote requests, correspondence, and photos for as long as reasonably needed to complete your project and for our own business records, and delete them when they’re no longer needed for either.

You can ask us to see, correct, or delete the information we have on file for you at any time. Email contact@blackthorncc.com and we’ll take care of it.

This site isn’t directed at children, and we don’t knowingly collect information from anyone under 13.

If this policy changes, we’ll update the effective date at the top of this page.
